EVS138 Master/Slave configuration

If you have need to cover a large area to find the location of your code, or if your goods vary in size to a significant degree we suggest that you use 2 EVS138 in a Master/Slave configuration.

With EVS138 cameras in Master/Slave configuration you can search and scan the code over a large area and when any of the cameras find the code, the data will be sent through the common RS232 interface.

The Master/Slave connected cameras can also be used for read verification which results in a “good read” or “no read” signal on the digital I/O.

EVS138 is able to read codes at a distance up to 13 meters, depending on the code size and density.

Upgrade to LF-RFID for better performance in paper industry

Tambour identification has in the past mostly been done using Microwave-based systems. That hardware is now getting to a point where it needs to be replaced in order to warrant a safe and trouble-free operation in the mills. Since a few years Ident System AB offers an economic and well-proven replacement system based on LF-RFID instead of the microwave systems.

The system consists of a reader connected to the present Mill Executive System and will keep track of Tambour-ID, orientation and acceptable destinations. The Tambour-ID system easily integrates with various MES e.g. Honeywell Optivision, ABB Automation, Paperline and similar systems.
Ident System AB has in the past years successfully installed well over 30 systems and more are on the way. The customers have greatly appreciated the quick and easy installation and the good performance of the systems.

Ident System AB has put together a short system description of our Tambour-ID solution that can be downloaded from our website here: Link to Tambour-ID pdf.

Industrial RFID reader with USB interface USB125

Manufacturing industries very often have press- or stamping tools, consisting of many different parts that need to be assembled in the correct order to avoid damages to the tool. For critical parts, identification on item level might be necessary. Our reader USB125 comes with a separate holder, so it can easily be attached to the work place where the assembly takes place. The critical tool parts are equipped with small glass tags (Ø2,12 x 12,2 mm), allowing an error-free identification.

A practical feature when working with stamping tools is the ability to track the tool usage. Re-sharpening of the tool can thus be kept to a minimum, prolonging the tool life and saving costs.

Our new Mini RFID Reader MR125

Identification tasks in manufacturing industries, logistics and many other areas can mostly be solved using an antenna out of our standard line of antennas. They range from 100x100x15 mm up to 400x400x15 mm. Two sizes of cylindrical antennas are also part of the standard line; M30 L70mm and M18x1 L25mm.

However, there are instances, when it would be desirable to have the reader integrated into an object e.g.a special drilling machine. This allows identification of operations on very large objects, as is the case in the Aircraft Industry. Thousands of holes have to be machined and it is important to document that the right tool has been used. The system can also register at what time the hole was drilled and how many holes have been made so that unnecessary re-sharpening can be avoided.

Although small in size (76x33x10mm) the reader can handle two antennas and many types of RFID-tags.

RFID Reader for conveyor belts CR125

RFID is very often used in logistics centres for commissioning purposes. Our versatile readers CR125, in combination with our only 10mm flat antennas, are easily integrated into roll-or conveyor systems. Thanks to the Ethernet interface and the Web browser console, it is very quick and easy to set up the reader. Simple commands facilitate the integration with the main computer system.

Dobot Magician – Tillbehör

Med utbildning, simulering och forskning i tankarna har Dobot utvecklat en rad tillbehör till sin flexibla Magician robotarm för att göra den en del av Industry 4.0.

Dobot Magician Mini Production Line

Dobot Magicians Mini Production Line kan du simulera din egen production line. Bandet har programmerbart start/stopp och hastighet och i paketet ingår sensor för avstånd- och positionsbedömning, färgigenkänning samt färgade träkuber för simuleringen.

Dobot Magician Vision Kit

Dobot Magician Vision Kit ger din Magician ögon för till exempel sortering och mönsterigenkänning och kan även användas för studier och forskning i vision, artificiell intelligens algorithm simulering, eller för utveckling av industriella vision lösningar.

Dobot Magician Sliding Rail

Dobot Magician Sliding Rail är en 1 meter lång räls som låter din Magician röra sig linjärt för till exempel långa skrivuppgifter, sortering och liknande.

Problem solving using RFID-Antennas

Identification tasks in manufacturing industries, logistics and many other areas can mostly be solved using an antenna out of our standard line of antennas. They range from 100x100x15 mm up to 400x400x15 mm. Two sizes of cylindrical antennas are also part of the standard line; M30 L70mm and M18x1 L25mm. You can read more about our standard antenna on the IDEAL125 page.

However, there are instances, when there is very little space to mount a standard antenna. On other occasions, it might be desirable to integrate an antenna into some tool or other. Through our vast experience from working more than 30 years with RFID, we have the knowledge and tools to let us design and manufacture virtually any size and shape of special antennas.

As an example, we can mention a mini-antenna Ø5x18mm that was integrated into a special electric drill for the Aircraft Industry. For robot arm applications, we have manufactured antennas Ø10x50mm. Flat, rectangular antennas to be mounted directly on metal is yet another speciality. They come in sizes 20x32x10mm and 30x40x10mm.

All other sizes and shapes are just a request from you away.

EVS144 series code scanners

Identsystem AB EVS144 Series are code scanners developed especially for forklift mounting. The EVS144 scanners are available in 2 versions with different read heads depending on requirements and application. Both scanners are operated by the forklift driver by means of a joystick, which in turn, works a read head mounted on a movable unit. The driver then controls the camera that reads the codes accordingly. The System is easy to install because of the small dimensions.

EVS144 imager reads barcodes and 2-dimensional codes (2D) it has a reading distance between 0,2 m up to more than 13 m.

Imager series is based on the latest matrix technology and is designed to handle a tough industrial environment. Readers are equipped with auto-focus system and have built-in error correction.

EVS144 line scanner read code at distances of 3-6 meters, depending on the size of the barcode. The scanner is operated by the forklift driver by means of a joystick, which in turn, works a read head mounted on a movable unit. The driver then controls the camera that reads the codes accordingly. The EVS144 line reader is equipped with a specially developed LED. The Line scanner is a CCD line based reader which works extremely good at reading poorly printed codes directly on the surface and also works in outdoor conditions. It can also read inverted codes.

Both these readers can be set up with a very easy-to-use setup software. The readers can be configured to open and close processes in SAP to really make your inventory system work with as little man-made input as possible.
